I don’t like to use meds for stress when I can use meditation. Sometimes I use deep breathing to calm down. Like breathe in for a count of 4 then hold for count of 4. It’s called 4×4 breathing. It helps when having a panic attack or anxiety.
Yoga is good for stress and anxiety. It is not just about stretching in odd named poses. Deep breathing and mindfulness exercises are also part of yoga.
